Maintenance Pricing

All mowing services are priced based on maintenance conditions, not on a weekly or biweekly rate. The quoted price provided at signup assumes the property is maintained at the service frequency recommended by Long Dog Lawn Care NWA based on seasonal grass growth and lawn conditions.

Service Frequency

Grass growth varies throughout the year due to rainfall, temperature, and seasonal conditions. As growth rates change, service frequency may need to be adjusted to maintain a healthy, well-kept lawn.

During periods of rapid growth, customers may be required to transition from biweekly service to weekly service. This helps prevent excessive grass height, scalping, lawn stress, increased labor, and unnecessary wear on equipment.

Additional Growth Charges

If a lawn exceeds normal maintenance conditions and requires additional labor, multiple mowing passes, or causes excessive equipment wear, additional charges will apply.

Double-cut mowing services are billed at an additional 75% of the standard mowing rate (0.75 × the regular service price).

Example:

Regular mowing service: $40

Double-cut charge: $30

Total service: $70

Additional overgrowth charges may also apply when trimming, edging, or cleanup requires substantially more time than a standard maintenance visit.

Refusal of Recommended Service Frequency

Customers who decline the recommended service frequency or refuse applicable overgrowth charges may forfeit any promotional or discounted pricing previously offered.

Failure to maintain the recommended service schedule may result in one or more of the following:

Removal of promotional or discounted pricing
Adjustment to standard maintenance rates
Suspension or cancellation of future services at the discretion of Long Dog Lawn Care NWA

Weather Delays

Weather occasionally requires schedule adjustments.

Customers will be notified whenever weather delays affect scheduling.

If a lawn requires double-cutting solely because Long Dog Lawn Care NWA was unable to service the property due to weather-related scheduling delays, no additional overgrowth or double-cut fees will not be charged. We understand that weather happens and we do not charge additional for it.

Scheduling

Customers will be notified of their anticipated service week on Sundays.

Service routes are generally finalized the weekend before scheduled service. While we strive to maintain consistent service days, schedules may change due to:

Weather conditions
Equipment breakdowns
Emergency situations
Employee illness
Other unforeseen circumstances

Long Dog Lawn Care NWA does not guarantee specific service days or service times. Routes are planned for efficiency and may change from week to week. Customers requesting a specific day or time cannot be accommodated unless otherwise agreed to in writing or charge for a prioritized service.

Skipped Services

Customers may request to skip a scheduled mowing service; however, pricing is based on maintaining the lawn at the recommended service frequency.

If a customer requests to skip a scheduled service and the lawn exceeds normal maintenance conditions before the next visit, all applicable overgrowth and/or double-cut charges will apply to return the property to maintenance condition.

If service is skipped because of an outstanding balance or failure to make payment, the customer remains responsible for returning the lawn to maintenance condition. Any overgrowth, double-cut, or additional labor charges required at the next visit will be added to the service invoice before regular maintenance pricing resumes.

Customers who repeatedly skip scheduled services may be required to switch to a different service frequency, be moved to standard pricing, or have service discontinued at the discretion of Long Dog Lawn Care NWA.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance.

Past-due balances are subject to the following late fees:

Lawn Maintenance Services

$10 per week on any unpaid balance.

Larger Projects

(Fence removal, cleanups, landscaping, tree work, grading, etc.)

$10 per week or 10% of the outstanding balance, whichever is greater, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Failure to pay an invoice by the customer's next scheduled service date, unless prior payment arrangements have been approved by Long Dog Lawn Care NWA, will result in the customer being removed from the service schedule until the account has been brought current.

Services suspended due to non-payment do not reserve the customer's place on the schedule. Service will resume only after the account has been brought current and route availability permits.

If a lawn becomes overgrown while service is suspended due to non-payment, all applicable overgrowth, additional labor, and double-cut charges will apply before the property is returned to its regular maintenance schedule. Any promotional or discounted pricing may also be removed at the discretion of Long Dog Lawn Care NWA.

Collections and Property Liens

Failure to pay outstanding invoices may result in collection efforts, including referral to a collections agency or the filing of a mechanic's or materialman's lien against the property when permitted by Arkansas law and after all applicable legal notice requirements have been satisfied.

Customers are responsible for all reasonable costs incurred in collecting unpaid balances, including but not limited to:

Late fees
Collection costs
Court costs
Filing fees
Reasonable attorney's fees, where permitted by law
Any other recoverable collection expenses

Acceptance of Terms

By requesting or utilizing services provided by Long Dog Lawn Care NWA, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms outlined in this Maintenance Mowing Policy.
